Emily has 15 years’ experience in developing and delivering communications strategies for multisector organisations. She has a Bachelor of Communications (Journalism and Public Relations) and has 15 years’ experience in marketing, communications, tender coordination and business development.
She disseminates the results of the portfolio of international projects by designing and drafting content for flyers, e-brochures, website updates, insights, social media and thematic seminars, successfully transferring knowledge to public and private sector stakeholders. She builds the bridge between EU level research and local level implementation. For instance, she has used the mobility hub good practices of SHARE NORTH project (Interreg North Sea) to integrate into the spatial planning strategies of UK Garden Towns that will incorporate autonomous vehicles.
Her wider role supports the whole Vectos company with marketing, communications and business development activities which means she has significant exposure to the planning and development industry. This allows her to use the company’s extensive network of contacts of urban planners and industry experts to share research innovations and ensure they are transferred to active projects.
In her spare time, Emily enjoys socialising with friends, yoga, cooking and watching NRL games. She also takes advantage of London’s proximity to continental Europe by travelling on weekends to explore new countries.
